Remember that all homes should have:

• 1/4” Hardwire cloth (Not chicken wire)
• Anti-predator locks (such as a carabinar lock)
• Lots of ventilation
• Easy access to food, water, grit and oyster shell
• Lots of plants and hides
• Dry areas during rain
• Coarse sand as litter (not cage wire, or pine or straw bedding)

Never use cedar wood as it is poisonous to quail.
